Frequently Asked Questions and What to Expect

Getting to know each other is important and this is the opportunity to do this. I will ask some questions about your health and wellbeing and this will allow us to create the personal therapy for you and your needs.

It is important to understand how the brain works so I will give an explanation of this, which will help you get to understand how hypnotherapy will help and get you to being in control of your life. I will also explain the process of the following sessions so you know what to expect from each one.

You will receive my MP3 of the trance session which will help with the therapy we do.

Most importantly it will give you the opportunity to ask any questions you have.

To book an initial consultation, go to the booking page and book in person or online. The payment is for the first session (initial consultation is free) which will be booked at the time of initial consultation. If you do not wish to proceed with the therapy, the charge will be refunded.

If your treatment is for anxiety or low mood/depression, then sessions needed tend to be between eight and twelve. This is dependant on symptoms and how you feel in confidence. I assure you once you feel  confident and happy to stop, I will encourage this.

If you are looking to rid yourself of a phobia then most simple phobias can be treated in three or four sessions. These are phobias such as spiders, heights, flying and reptiles. 

Complex phobias are linked to anxiety and will typically be between eight and twelve sessions. Example of complex phobias are driving, fear of death and agoraphobia.

Weight management is typically between eight and twelve session.

Smoking/Vaping cessation is one, two hour session.

All sessions including the initial consultation are 50 minutes with the exception of Smoking cessation which is up to two hours.

While hypnotherapy is a powerful resource helping you, it needs full commitment to the process. The more committed the better and quicker the results will happen.

Cancellations made 24 hours before the appointment will be refunded or not charged. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will be fully chargeable.

Amendments need to be made 24 hours before the original time booked or the appointment will be fully chargeable.  

If the 6 for 5 offer is taken and subsequent sessions aren't used, a refund will be given minus the sessions. These sessions will be charged at £60 so the refund will reflect the charges made.
